Lately with a positive change in my style, attitude, and health - people are sure I'm in my twenties. Years ago I got asked if I was my friend's mother in the bar (she's the same age as me). I know women in forties who could pass for 25 on a night out and late, haggard forties when they are home with their children. I have friends who are in their thirties who still look like baby-faced teenagers. Whenever a model would cancel a photoshoot on me, I had to walk to the downtown area of my city and ask a complete stranger if they would do a photoshoot with me right then and there where I met them. That way I can practice and I can give people free photos in return. So, I thought to myself, why don't I just go outside and take free photos for people. The problem was, I didn't know any models and I didn't really know a lot of people in San Francisco because I had just moved there. That was literally my first day of doing photography and I was so excited I wanted to take some cool photos right away. It started on the day that I received my camera in the mail about a year ago. "It was a culmination of many things that led me to the idea of photographing strangers the way that I do it today.
